Kayak Fishing Trips
Sea Otter Lodge
Proud to be the first lodge on the BC West Coast to offer all-inclusive kayak fishing trips.
Kyuquot is perfect for kayak fishing.
Kayakers have long known Kyuquot as an ideal paddling location. The clusters of islands & islets that cover the coastline create secluded areas protected from wind & surf. These same islands and reefs create amazing fish habitat too. A kayak is the perfect fishing vessel for these waters because anglers can skim along the surface in and around the reefs making it more than possible to catch your daily limit, each and every day.
Kayak anglers who have fished in more crowded waters elsewhere will enjoy that remote waters of Kyuquot enable you to keep your daily catch. You’ll be able to go home and fill your freezer with salmon, cod, halibut and sea bass for eating all winter long. And if you think playing a fish in a power boat is exciting, wait until you experience the thrill of playing a saltwater fish along side the kayak, close to the ocean surface sitting on top of the kayak with a view of every move the fish makes. It’s an unbelievable fishing experience.
Fishing in Kyuquot is the thrill-of-a-lifetime for any angler wanting an exciting adventure. With our lodge you will fish with the benefit of an experienced guide in a mothership that will take you out to the best fishing grounds and our expert guide will provide any coaching tips you’d like as you seek out your prey.
After fishing, relax in our luxurious lodge with drinks on the deck overlooking the bay, reminiscing all the day’s adventures, while our cook prepares delicious meals for an evening feast with friends. Each day you’ll have breakfast in the lodge and then head out for a day of fishing with a hearty lunch picnic to enjoy on the water or one of the many secluded islands and beaches.
Each all-inclusive kayak fishing trip is exclusive. Only 6 guests maximum per trip means that all your needs are catered to with customized service. Our guide will ensure each kayak angler has the very best fishing experience possible.
Our kayak fishing trips book very quickly, so don’t hestitate. Contact us today to find out more about our exclusive and all-inclusive kayak fishing trips.
